TSL Policy

**Please Read Carefully**

All prices depend on the size, detail, and amount of work needed to create your custom order. Because I am a home baker, I am limited on the amount of orders I create per week. 

Payments:

Payment is due at the time your order is placed unless otherwise discussed. If Payment is not received your order will be considered null and void, and reorder will be needed. All orders under $100 must be paid in full at the time your order is placed. All orders over $100 require a non-refundable 50% deposit in order to secure your date. Deposits are due at the time your order is placed; full payment on said orders is due 2 weeks (14 days) prior to your event. If full payment is not received 2 weeks prior to your event your order will be cancelled and you forfeit any payment received. Quotes are valid for 1 week after receiving your quote, if the order is not placed after the 1 week time period your quote is considered null and void and a new quote will be needed. This does not indicate that your quote will go up but it will be dependent on the time frame in which the order is placed and or if there are any design changes.

Payment for deposits and final payments may be made in the form of cash, credit card, via Paypal and The CashAp.

Cancellation/Refund Policy:

If for any reason you (the customer) need to postpone your event, we ask that you contact The Sweet Lab LLC immediately. If you need to postpone your event date, we will do everything possible to accommodate you but your new date may not be available. In the event that your new date is unavailable, after postponing your previous date, The Sweet Lab LLC is not responsible; therefore, you (the customer) are subject to forfeit of money paid if you do not meet cancellation requirements. In the event of a cancellation, we follow certain refund policies. If the cancellation is a month (4 weeks) prior to your event, we will refund all but your non-refundable deposit amount. Cancellations made less than 4 weeks cannot be accepted for refund and will result in a forfeit of money paid.

In the unlikely event that you the customer were dissatisfied with your dessert from The Sweet Lab LLC, please inform us within 48 hours of your event and then make arrangements to return your uneaten portion of your dessert. A partial refund or credit toward your next order will be determined on a case by case basis.  We are not able to offer refunds in cases where the design was created properly but a flavor or texture did not meet personal preference. While we do receive positive feedback from the majority of our customers it is, however, impossible to predict everyone's personal taste or preferences. We strive to please every customer but we understand that this may not always be possible.

Delivery:
Delivery charges will be applied accordingly for distance traveled. Delivery less than 10 miles of the 75165 area code will be free of charge; all deliveries outside of this range will incur a cost starting at $25.  Cost for delivery will vary dependent on the location traveled for delivery. It is your responsibility to ensure that the event location is open and available for set up at the appointed time of delivery.  The Sweet Lab LLC will get in contact with the vendor to ensure that everything is scheduled and ready before delivery is made. Should we have to wait at the site for the event location to be opened, you will be billed for the time at an hourly rate of $15 per hour. The Sweet Lab LLC is not responsible for anything that may happen to the cake after we have delivered and set it up at the event location. We will take photos of the cake or other items after we have set up to ensure that everything is in order.
